On forwarded emails

I get a lot of forwarded email, mostly on politics. And they can be rather nasty. This was just something I thought while scrolling through my inbox:
To everyone who forwards emails on politics, I have absolutely no intention to be rude or disrespectful, but i genuinely wonder how all these "hate mail" would benefit the country. Positive change is not based on negative words, I think. I have tried to be fair and read these emails, but it just makes me feel sick and unhappy. I don't feel inspired to do anything apart from being angry at the world. Not to mention that the emails usually contain hateful comments against certain individuals, calling them names or insulting them. I understand the anger at someone misusing power or doing a wrong, but I don't think this the right way to handle the issue. 
Of course, no one is saying turn a blind eye, or believe all the lies. Yes, spread awareness (and please check if they are true to begin with; sometimes I question the authenticity of the information), call for change, and so on. I fully support that. Never turn away from injustice. However, my humble plea is to at least, do it honorably, chivalrously, the way an educated, civilized, mature person would. 
Because I am sure that you all are, and you all have good intentions. 

If you are upset at seeing this, I apologise. It was not meant to be insulting, and I hope you can see that. If you think I am some young naive girl who is apathetic to the state of our country, I will admit that I am certainly the former, but never the latter.

Happy new year, belatedly. I haven't have time to reflect on last year, exams are still on.

One more paper. They really shouldn't put four days in between papers though. I lose all momentum and become a lazy pig.

Hey just reviewed my latest post and realized that there are a few corrections and add-ons I forgot to make.....haha Firstly, I think I gave the image that I had a terrible 2009. Piglet cannot knot a knot

This reminds me of my "Miscommunication" post. Only a whole lot funnier. Remember Disney's Winnie the Pooh? This is an excerpt from one of their shows. Rabbit: Good grief! Tie them (rope) together, Piglet! Can you tie a knot? Piglet: I cannot. Rabbit: Oh, so you can knot. Piglet: No, I cannot knot. Rabbit: Not knot? Winnie the Pooh: Who's there? Rabbit: Pooh! Winnie the Pooh: Pooh who? Rabbit: No! Pooh, it's….Piglet, you'll need more than two knots. Piglet: Not possible. Owl: Ah! So it is possible to knot those pieces. Piglet: Not these pieces? Winnie the Pooh: Yes, knot those pieces. Piglet: Why not? Eeyore: Because it's all for naught. I love a dialogue that plays with words. This made me laugh. Did you get it? Let me know. Battle of the bands

MUET…man, I don’t know why I’m so obsessed about it. I think it’s because everyone expects me to do well. I want to do well myself….because I think, I hope, with a crazy, insane ferventness, that I can. *taps fingers nervously* I really, really want this badly. Not that it’ll define who I am (I know it won’t), but still…this is one triumph I want to taste. I’ve been having so many downs lately, I want this boost. But will it happen? PLEASE don’t tell me that it will be a breeze; that will just stress me to death! Other updates? hmm.....it has been quite a ride of late. I'm not sure where to begin. Suffice it to say that i am at a place where i'm clawing, fighting and struggling to be what i am suppose to be. I'm focusing on getting back in order, my life has been quite a whirlwind lately. Right now though, I'm feeling rather smug. I'm so happy to be a Mewahan that i don't care if that sounds lame! I saw you guys marching today....aw. i love the marching season.
